How Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Can Help You

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapists (BABCP) Short explainer video

Cognitive behavioural therapy helps you gain a better understanding of your negative anxious thoughts and feelings by breaking it down.

When negative thoughts and feelings are broken down the issue appears smaller and less overwhelming, therefore making it easier to manage. Cognitive behaviour therapy goes through your issues and breaks it down into 5 main areas; situations, thoughts, emotions, physical feelings and actions.

These areas are all intertwined with one another and identified as the root of any negative thoughts and feelings. I will help you recognise these negative thoughts and feelings, in order to help you overcome them and also help you change your thought patterns and behaviours.
